The New Zealand Kiwi

Sadly the New Zealand Kiwi is in danger.

The various species that exist today are in rapid decline and unfortunately only a few New Zealanders are aware of how terrible the situation has become over the last few decades.

The good news of course is there are some hard working people and our Depart of Conversation who do tremendous work in an effort to improve the numbers of our National Bird and symbol.
